Divine intervention may have inspired Dr Kent Keith to write the sequels to his bestseller, 'Anyway: The Paradoxical Commandments'. Keith began to author 'Do It Anyway' and 'Jesus Did It Anyway' upon learning in 1997 that Mother Theresa had hung a copy of his commandments up on her wall.

"That was a really big discovery for me," he said. "That's when I started speaking and writing about the commandments again."

Like the orthodox commandments of the Bible, 'The Paradoxical Commandments' is a decalogue which compliments theological values and teachings. According to Keith, each commandment begins with a statement of adversity, "things that are difficult in life", and each one is followed by a positive commandment.

"The idea is that no matter what the world does to you, you need to do what's right, good and true and that will give you meaning and if you have meaning you don't have to look for glory," he said.

Keith continues with an example saying, "people are illogical, unreasonable and self-centered, love them anyway."

Kent Keith authored the commandments as a 19-year old Harvard student responding to the turbulent political environment of the Watergate-Vietnam war era. His book enjoys worldwide recognition with translations in more than a dozen languages. He is also an active speaker with over 800 presentations to a variety of clients and organizations spotlighting on leadership and finding meaning in life and at work.
