Proving his success as a young entrepreneur, CEO of Zero2IPO, Gavin Ni turned his company into the most influential and active venture capital research and advisory institution, as well as the most extensive venture capitalist and entrepreneur network in China, six years after its foundation.
This was made possible through the hard work and diligence he has bestowed upon his academic endeavor.
Ni spent his college life with dedication to his studies while trying to build a network of people that would eventually help him build his venture capital firm. Now he wants to impart the same message to other students especially those with inclination to become entrepreneurs.
"When you are in college you should be very diligent, hardworking; study hard to be the best student that you are," Ni said. "But you should also keep an eye on the people side, if you have the chance you should network at first with investors that's good for your future career."
Recently, the company hosted China Venture Capital Forum at Palo Alto designed to bring together Chinese and American venture capitalists. According to Ni, its main mission is to establish bonds between entrepreneurs from both sides of the Pacific subsequently creating jobs that would benefit the two countries.
Gavin Ni said that his greatest joy is to benefit others, and by pursuing the aims of his company, he would potentially be able to help billions of people from his homeland.
