Honolulu's First Lady Advances Arts in the State
Everytime there was a major budget cut in the State, it would always be the Arts to be put in distress first. But Gail Hannemann, CEO of the Girl Scouts Council of Hawaii, saw the need for the Arts in the development of a vibrant and healthy community. This brought her to chair the Hawaii Alliance for Arts, the only one of its kind in the State that supports and advocates the arts.
