Hawaii Business Magazine has awarded Kari Leong the Fittest CEO award for 2007. This is the second year that she has been awarded this special accolade. In 2006, Kari placed second overall in the event's Women's division.
The Hawaii Fittest CEO challenge sets an example to corporations and individuals to make health and wellness a primary business and personal concern. According to Hawaii Business Magazine writer, Scott Radway, Hawaii faces a looming healthcare crisis and healthcare is a high cost of doing business today.
"If each of us makes healthier choices, it will eventually translate into healthier bottom lines for employers," he said.
Greater Good Inc. would like to extend its congratulations to the winners of this years challenge, and its appreciation to Hawaii Business Magazine for promoting a healthier, more vibrant, business community in the State.
